David Adelke Adedeji who is popularly and professionally known as Davido (HKN, 30BG Boss). Born on November 21, 1992, He is a Nigerian singer, producer, and songwriter. Although Davido was born originally in Atlanta, Georgia, US, He was raised in Lagos state, Nigeria.
He initially studied Business Admin at Oakwood University before he dropped it off for his Debut single, “Dami Duro.” Upon releasing the hit single “Dami Duro,” Davido became famous. His second single Debut titled  “Omo Baba Olowo” in 2012, in addition to the other six singles – “All of You,” “Gbon Gbon,” Back When,” “Feel Alright,” “Ekuro,” “Overseas,” brought Him to the limelight.
Davido won the headies award (Next Rated)  between the year 2013 to 2015, releasing back-to-back singles like; “Tchelete (Goodlife),” “Skelewu,” “Gobe,” “Owo Ni Koko,” “The Money,” “One of a Kind,” “The Sound” “Naughty,” and the very popular hit “Aye.”

David’s Childhood Story, Family Background, and Early Life –
David Adeleke Adedeji’s mother is Veronica Adeleke( Although late). She used to be a lecturer, and his father (A business magnate) is Adedeji Adeleke.
His family origin is from the southwest, with the  West African root, the Yoruba ethnicity. He was particularly raised in Lagos, Nigeria, growing up alongside his siblings, namely, Ashley (coco), Sharon, and Adewale (brother).
Amidst His family’s wealth and superfluous riches, davido was dotted on as nothing was deprived him, even the very littlest material cravings. He is a huge fan of the popular singer “Lagbaja” and was very passionate about some other musicians at that time, too.

David’s Career  & Education Buildup

Davido formally began his schooling adventure in primary and elementary education in Nigeria before he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, USA, to complete his studies (basically elementary). Afterward, his family moved back to Nigeria, where he eventually enrolled at a British school in Lagos at the age of 16, the completion of his secondary school education.
Davido eventually studied Business Admin after moving to Alabama, US, at Oakwood University but developed an intense passion for music. However, he struggled with it before eventually dropping off the Biz-Admin course for a debut. It was quite uneasy for him to ditch his business admin course initially because his father wanted him to take on his business empire after him after becoming massively successful in his academic pursuits. Davido owed this to the family as supposed. However, he went on the contrary.
Therefore, he maintained a low profile. He eventually proceeded to study music in July 2015 and graduated by bagging his degree in Music from Babcock. It was also reported that David’s father had to pay the University to start a music department for a class of one student.

David’s Early Career Life –

In 2011, davido started working on his debut Album titled “Omo baba olowo”. The Album had a mixture of both hip-hop and afrobeat; he was privileged to work on the project with a lot of high-profile producers, and the appearances of singers like Ice Prince, Maleek Berry, Shizzi, Kayswitch, Mr. Chidoo, Dokta Frabz,  Theory Soundz, Jay SleekGospelOnDeBeatz, Naeto C, 2 Face Idibia and B-Red.
In order for him to further his musical interest, Davido bought equipment (musical instruments) and started as a beat producer.
“Dami Duro” was the Album’s second single, released on October 30, 2011, produced by Shizzi and David himself. The song was leaked three months before it was officially released, but Davido said the song was previously recorded in August of the same year, and it got leaked after forwarding it to some of his friends. A sequential video of the song came through on January 8, 2012, and “Ekuro” on January 25, 2012. The song “Ekuro” was directed and recorded and particularly directed by Smith Antwan in Miami.
The “overseas” song, which is the fourth on the album chart, came through on May 6, 2012 (it was also leaked prior to its release date). “all of You” was also produced by the famous GospelOnDeBeatz and was released on September 28, 2012.
A quick run up through the years, davido released The Baddest and Son of Mercy Album from  2013–2016, a  Standalone release. On the 25th of 2013, Davido produced the “Gobe” hit track, ranking top 10 on the Premium Times. Afterward, He announced the official date to release his much-anticipated song titled “One of a Kind,” which was May 13, 2013,  following the release of “Skelewu”  on August 13, 2013.

A collaboration with  South African duo Mafikizolo, released on April 30, 2014, titled “Tchelete (Goodlife).

Davido’s dating history has been wild; it’s always a sort of information everyone wants to know about. He’s been with more than 5 women ever since he came to the limelight. However, he maintains very close ties with his exes, namely Amanda and Sophie, due to the fact that they each had a daughter for him (Imade and Hailey) born in May 2015, respectively. Some other women he had been with include Ghanian Beauty, Kenyan Vixen, Staicey Brianar Brown, Guinean model Sira Kante, and Nish Kards.
Davido currently has five children (One is deceased, namely, David Ifeanyi Adeleke, who drowned in a pool at his father’s Banana Island residence), which, in total,  is six children. Three boys and three girls. However, he officially got married to Chioma Rowland in March 2023.
