“I was paid 3000 and beans for an influencing Job” – Comedian Isbae U reveals

Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Adebayo Abidemi, better known as Isbae U has confessed that he was once paid 3000 and some cups of beans for an influencing Job.

The skit maker revealed this during an interview with Sunday Beats days after he took to his social media page to inform his fans that he had just acquired a Mercedes Benz vehicle worth millions of naira.

While many have been celebrating him, he stated that things were not always that rosy for him.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, he recalled that he was once paid as little as N3,000 and beans (ewa agoyin) for a brand-influencing job.

In his words, he said:

“The lowest amount I have ever been paid for influencing was when I just started. I collected N3,000 and beans (ewa agoyin). It was an advert for a lady that sells ewa agoyin.

My fee was actually supposed to be N5,000, but she gave me N3,000 in cash and N2,000 worth of beans. I did not mind at that time because there was a certain joy that came with being paid for a job.”
